This webinar reviews the first phase our New Approach Methodology (NAM) inhalation toxicology test, developed in partnership with Charles River Laboratories. This phase evaluated the acute toxicity of a panel of chemicals with known inhalation risk assessment categories in 2D and 3D human airway models, as well as a 3D rat airway epithelial model. This work is part of a larger program which also includes repeat dose responses, aerosol vs liquid applications, and donor differences, with the eventual goal of generating a prediction model for inhalation risk of aerosol chemicals.
